Director SS Rajamouli is known for creating celluloid wonders Magadheera, Yamadonga etc. He is set for for Baahubali as one more prideful film of Tollywood with Prabhas, Rana and Anushka as top casting. It is known that Rajamouli preferred a star hunt process to choose the best from the aspiring actors. The response for the casting call was so high that out of 13,000 applications, about 2,000 were shortlisted. Rajamouli said what happened later on. “Over the last month, I short listed about 2000 applicants and asked then to attend auditions. Surprisingly, half of them didn’t turn up…after auditions, I selected about 50 guys and started training them. After 2 day,s half of them disappeared. Short listing 2000 ppl from 13000 was a daunting task. We just couldn’t handle more, so had to block. Apologies there.” Many say that half of them escaped due to the strict training allotted by Rajamouli and its even heard that actors felt they deserved to get good roles, but they were being given all sidekick and negligible roles. The aspirants reportedly said “We have so much talent, we can’t do such roles.” Well, Many aspirants are under delusion, that they will be given a chance next to a big hero. But there is something these aspirants should realize for selling a film, richness comes only when it is with known faces. But these aspirants will not think about business logistics, and they live in their own world. Not making use of a good chance, they think too much of themselves. They should look at the careers of even Chiranjeevi, Prakash Raj, Raviteja who started with small roles. If the aspirants behave in this manner, Its obvious to see star director organization frustrated.
