All Halo fans will bless Microsoft for new Halo: Reach multiplayer Beta which is scheduled to arrive in Spring 2010. However, to play this, multiplayer Beta gamers will need Halo: ODST disk in the drive which will be used to obtain the beta key for Reach's demo. So it'll be necessary to purchase Halo: ODST for enjoying the Reach's multiplayer beta. Finally, Comics fans can now read their favourite Marvel and Disney comics on PlayStation Portable. Proud PSP owners can now install free Digital Comics Reader and get to read the tales of their favorite comic characters like X-men and Spider-Man. At the moment, about 550 digital comic issues are being offered at this PlayStation Comics service. As time passes, more titles would be offered from prominent publishing houses.

 has detailed and priced two new downloadable content sequences. First the Battle of Forli pack will arrive in Jan for $3.99 (Rs. 192 approx.) and then will arrive Bonfire of Vanities for $4.99 (Rs. 240 approx.) in Feb next year. Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza will team up with Ezio and fight against the Orsi brothers. While in Bonfire of Vanities will recount the historical events relating to monk Savonarola and will start where Florence was roped. 
Microsoft Games on Demand Service launched
Steam and Impulse now have a giant competitor in digital games distribution service market Microsoft. The software has now forayed in digital games distribution through Games on Demand service through free Games for Windows LIVE client. The PC games lineup at Games on Demand includes: Fallout 3, DiRT 2, Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter IV, Battlestations Pacific, FUEL, Viva Pinata, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, Shadowrun, Section 8, Juiced 2, and Red Faction: Guerrilla. As of now, Viva Pinata and Shadowrun are the two full games available with 50 per cent discount for $9.99 (Rs. 480 approx.) until January 4. Tinker, a puzzle game, is offered for free through this client. 


Dragon Age: Origins for Mac Announced
While Windows based gamers are having a ball playing Dragon Age: Origins, the Mac OS X owners will soon join them. Electronic Arts' studio BioWare and TransGaming together announced that the Mac version of their latest game Dragon Age: Origins will be released on December 21. Using the Cider Technology, TransGaming has ported the game for Mac platform. Mac fanboys get ready to Grey Warden but make sure your Mac has Snow Leopard   10.6.2 installed.

Clearly, the company plans to offer something to the Age of Conan fans and gamers looking to check out the game. This smart move by Funcom is surely going to make gamers aware about the recent changes in the content Massive Multiplayer Online. Once registered for free, users can download the client and get access till level 20 of this Hyborian adventure. This unrestricted access is given for the Island of Tortage. If the player wants to go beyond level-20 then he'll have to pay for upgrade to full account subscription. 
Green Day: Rock Band Announced
After the recent success of The Beatles: Rock Band, music-centric game makers Harmonix and MTV games announced Green Day: Rock Band. This game will be released in Fall 2010 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.  The track list will be fully exportable, giving players the opportunity to play the songs in Rock Band and Rock Band 2 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. 
Star Wars: Force Unleashed II Announced
At the Spike Video Game Awards, Lucas Arts announced the sequel to Force Unleashed in its Star Wars legacy. As a part of continuation of the Star Wars saga, this sequel is set between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope. No details about the release date were revealed at the Awards but as the official site states; it'll arrive in sometime 2010. As a direct sequel to Star Wars: Force Unleashed, this new game shows Darth Vader's one time apprentice Starkiller in action. Along comes a gigantic creature capable enough to gobble down a Rancor for starters. Starkiller's lightsabers are now blue which indicate his transformation from Dark Side towards the Rebellion. 



AoT: The 40th Day Demo Announced
Electronics Arts Montreal has officially announced Army of Two: The 40th Day's Demo availability on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE. Based on the co-op shooter Army of Two game, this sequel's demo would be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 respectively on December 17. Demo for PlayStation Portable would be available on January 7 in North America and January 14 in Europe. The demo will comprise of the first level of the game that gives an experience of evolution with new co-op tactics and moves. Also, those who pre-order the game from select retailers will get exclusive access to the game's bonus multi-player mode dubbed as Extraction at game's launch.
